862. Bill Scheidell from <somewhere> (2008/10/06) We are an active, ethical vegan, senior couple. We have a 50 acre place at the base of the Zuni mountains of west central New Mexico. Some of our neighbors live off the grid. The people in the area tend to be liberal and interested in the arts. We have a short growing season but long enough for a bumber crop of zucchini. We would like to be part of a spiritually aware community. We have a guest bungalow and another building we are fixing up to be a community center. We are trying to be self-sufficient Visitors are welcome.

867. Den'a from MI (2008/11/08) I was looking at your websit and I agree with most of what you have to say. but there is a lot i don't agree with. 1st Babys and childern need toys it is a very inporten part of develment. my 12 mth old loves her baby doll, but she wood never chose her doll over her mother. 2nd sleeping with your child can be very unsafe you take the risk of rolling over on your child or the child could fall off the bed. A child needs to learn to put thier self a sleep. Im not trying to say that yor life style is bed. I breatfed all 3 of my childern. And we only eat organic foods. But i do think you telling people that there childern don't need toys or a safe place to sleep is irresponsieble.

868. Lois Hickey from Old Hall community (2008/11/18) Hello I am writing for some support, my family and I and a friend are part of a group in Suffolk who wish to start a yurt community. Some of the members are getting cold feet and wish to postpone the community for sometime for personal reasons, so the three of us plus my son age 11 are thinking of buying and moving onto some land. I wish to know how things are living under the circumstance of having planners unhappy with our living arrangements and how difficult will it be? I wish to stay on a piece of land and not continually move around as people are suggesting we do. This would be unsetterling for my son. Can we enjoy our lives and loves, living in two yurts and a caravan with planners hastling us? or will our lives be made unpleasant? Will it be expensive to fight planners/ I Live at Old Hall at the moment a community, we are looking to find others who live like we wish to live but their communities are full so we decided to go it alone. Any advice. Does life become too cahallenging and will we be able to manage to fight the planners alone or is it good to be with a big group of people? yours with heart Lois
